Sitecore hires Kim Sullivan as new CHRO

Kim Sullivan will ensure that teams feel engaged and supported

Sitecore has appointed Kim Sullivan as Director of Human Resources – at a time of tremendous growth for the digital experience software company.

Kim Sullivan jumps into her new role at Sitecore with more than 25 years of experience leading the human resources efforts of large industrial organisations. Most recently, she served as Director of Human Resources at Concentrix.

Before Concentrix, she held leadership positions at Kaiser Permanente Washington, The University of Texas System, Walgreens and Marathon Oil Company. She has a master’s degree in human resource development from the University of Houston and a bachelor’s degree in speech communication and organisational psychology from Texas Southern University.

Sullivan’s experience and expertise have been widely recognised in her industry. She was recently recognised by Savoy Magazine as one of this year’s most influential black executives in the corporate world and has won back-to-back On Conference’s Top 10 HR Professionals awards.

“Sitecore’s championing of its talent as a key growth driver demonstrates that it is a people-first organisation and a company that understands that the HR function must continually evolve to ensure that team members feel engaged and supported,” said Sullivan.

She concluded: “I am more than excited to join Sitecore at this time of growth for the company.”

Last month, Sitecore announced that it was the first company in the industry to completely transition from its core CMS solution, including the personalisation and content creation experience, to modern cloud-based architecture with the release of Experience Manager Cloud. This move enables the company to better serve brands in the face of rising consumer expectations for brand engagement

“Sitecore has experienced tremendous growth, and talent has been a key pillar of our company’s success. Our continued growth depends on our ability to attract and retain top talent, making Sitecore the best place to work while redefining the workplace of the future,” said Sitecore CEO Steve Tzikakis.

“We are thrilled to welcome an experienced leader like Kim Sullivan to the Sitecore team.”
