haysmacintyre, the top 30 accounting and tax advisory firm, has taken a major step forward for diversity and inclusion and announced the appointment of Natasha Frangos as the firm’s new Managing Partner, effective 1 July 2022.
Why does this appointment mean so much for gender equality? Because in succeeding Jeremy Beard, who has led the firm for the past three years, Natasha becomes the first female managing partner of haysmacintyre, one of the few Top 30 accountancy firms to have a woman in this position.
Franco’s appointment is also a testament to haysmacintyre’s strategy of investing in internal talent, as evidenced by the fact that 54% of current partners graduated from the firm.

The appointment is well deserved. Prior to embracing her new role, Frangos had been a partner for 13 years, and she currently sits on haysmacintyre’s executive board as the firm’s head of corporate, a position she has held since 2019. Before that, she served as head of creative media and technology for nine years.
Frangos comes to the new role with a wealth of experience spanning two decades. She joined haysmacintyre as a trainee in September 2000 and has since become a champion for development and diversity within the firm, from mentoring many of her colleagues to leading an expansion of the firm’s maternity policy to include partners.
Commenting on her appointment, Natasha Frangos detailed her plan: “I am delighted to take on the role of managing partner at haysmacintyre and lead the firm into its next stage of growth. Jeremy’s leadership has helped the firm weather the effects of a tumultuous three-year period, and his determination has undoubtedly put haysmacintyre in a strong position for the future.
“Having previously held a number of senior management positions, I look forward to building on the strong foundations Jeremy has laid to continue to improve our market-leading and forward-looking business so that we can prosper sustainably and develop our people to the best of their abilities.”
She adds: “As part of our strategy, I am focused on attracting, developing and retaining talent, continuing to develop our partners, as well as implementing initiatives to increase efficiency and profitability and help us adapt to the changing landscape we face, ensuring that we remain relevant and attractive to our customers.”
Jeremy Beard added: “I am delighted that Natasha has been appointed managing partner of haysmacintyre. Her appointment is a testament to the firm’s many years of commitment to developing and promoting the next generation of leaders”.
“Leading the firm for the past three years has been an incredibly rewarding experience and a real privilege, and I am proud to now hand over the reins to Natasha. I have no doubt that Natasha will take the firm forward with great skill, enthusiasm and commitment, and I look forward to seeing her build on her successes to lead haysmacintyre to the next stage of its growth.”
