The National BAME Health & Care Awards (BAMEHCA), the annual event that recognises the hard work of BAME professionals in the UK’s health and care sectors, will run across five virtual meetings this year, starting on April 15 and finishing on May 13, 2021. The 2021 Shortlist of nominees has been revealed.
The awards that highlight the improvements made in career progression for BAME staff or the improvement of services or access to services for people from BAME communities, carry more weight this year considering the impact COVID-19 has had on community employment, business stability, and health.
