Pipedrive, a global cloud-based software as a service company, has appointed Tanya Channing as Chief People & Culture Officer (CPCO).
There, Channing will support Pipedrive’s hiring goals and aid in developing its team culture. She has over 20 years of experience in people leadership, nurturing talent and improving company culture.
Before that, she was Deputy CHRO, Chief of Staff to CIO, and part of the senior team that successfully floated tech firm Worldpay. She has also held several HR leadership roles at firms, including Burger King and Red Bull.
Channing’s extensive experience in developing and supporting good company culture throughout her career will sit well with Pipedrive’s mission and accomplishments; the company has won over 70 awards for best company culture and the best place to work, including Best Employer in Estonia six years running from 2016 to 2021, Best Global Company Culture in 2021, and Best Place to Work in Lisbon in 2020.
Speaking on her new role, Channing said: “Pipedrive has solid product and technology, and the health of the business and future strategic direction are impressive. But I decided to join the company foremost because of the immediate connection I felt with Pipedrive’s people-first mindset. The unique aspect of the company culture stood out to me. I am so excited to explore different ways of unleashing the potential of each person at the heart of the organisation.”
Dominic Allon, CEO, Pipedrive, said: “Tanya is a transformation leader, and she brings a wealth of international and multi-sector experience in digital and agile transformation, operating model design, as well as a proven track record of scaling high-performance businesses to realise the full potential of their people.
“As Pipedrive is entering the next phase of growth and business development, I am happy to welcome Tanya. She will lead the unique opportunity of developing the winning culture for Pipedrive, unleashing the potential and performance of our team, and supporting initiatives for maintaining healthy work-life integration.”
