Robert Walters Group acts on commitment to DE&I by supporting Sylvia

Recruitment giant supports suffragette-inspired production at The Old Vic

Robert Walters Group is partnering with the globally renowned theatre, The Old Vic, as the Production Sponsor of its upcoming production – Sylvia – opening on 27 January.

The partnership signals an ongoing commitment from the global recruitment consultancy towards the creative industries – as well as to those organisations who continue to champion inclusivity, a sense of belonging, the removal of barriers for individuals in society, and accessibility in hiring.

Sylvia, featuring British musical star Beverley Knight MBE as Emmeline Pankhurst, follows the revolutionary life of

Sylvia Pankhurst, played by Sharon Rose – feminist, activist, pacifist, socialist, rebel – and her role in the Suffragette movement.

Opening on Friday, 27 January, Sylvia will run for just over two months – with a night for press being held on 14 February.

Founded over 200 years ago, The Old Vic has been a vanguard of British not-for-profit theatre and a staple institution for theatre-goers for centuries – maintaining core values of bringing community, accessibility and inclusivity to the arts. 

The partnership between Robert Walters Group and The Old Vic symbolises a powerful force for the local community, at the heart of which is a celebration of inclusivity as well as individual talent.
