Women in IT Awards USA – nominate now!

Nominations for the 21 categories are open until Friday April 29

Nominations are now open for the Women in IT Awards USA, the premier event praising the success of women in the industry and highlighting new role models to inspire the US female tech community.

Nominations are free and open until Friday, April 29 2022. Winners will be announced at our first in-person awards ceremony in New York since 2019, which will take place with great fanfare on September 14, 2022.

Growth, continuity, and results will be this year’s core themes considering the challenges tech firms and their people have faced living and working through COVID-19 over the past two years.

The awards offer nominees the opportunity to gain industry-wide recognition for their accomplishments, inspiring other women to rise through the ranks in the still male-dominated tech industry.

There are 21 categories in which you can nominate yourself or an inspirational colleague for an award, including Woman of the Year, Diversity Lead of the Year, Ally of the Year, and many more.

Unsurprisingly, Woman of the Year is one of the main categories of the awards. In successful nominees, judges will be looking for “a woman who has demonstrated the highest degree of IT excellence, innovation and leadership over the last two years, and shone a light on the great things women in IT can achieve.

“Candidates should have not only have demonstrated outstanding business or technology-focused achievements but also given examples of how they have actively sought to bring more diversity into the technology industry. ”

Now in its fifth year, the Women in IT Awards USA have celebrated the accomplishments of over 1,000 women, allies, and organisations across the United States that are taking tech innovation to the next level while keeping diversity, equity and inclusion in mind. For the chance to add your name, the name of your organisation, or a colleague to this inspirational list, nominate now!
