The time has come to celebrate Asia’s female tech leaders who are disrupting the industry through innovation and equitable leadership by making a nomination for the Women in IT Awards Asia.
Organised by DiversityQ, the awards are a crucial way to recognise and celebrate women, allies, and organisations across Asia for their contributions to the tech industry, and crucially those individuals and organisations that are accelerating the position of women, who are still underrepresented in the sector.
You can nominate yourself, a colleague, or a peer for an award, and you have 20 categories to choose from including DEI Recruitment and Advancement Initiative of the year, Ally of the year and of course the iconic Woman of the Year award.
Judges consider the Woman of the Year to be: “A role model who has demonstrated a high degree of excellence, innovation and leadership in the last five years, and shone a light on the great things women in technology can achieve. In their submission, nominees should not only demonstrate outstanding business and technology focused achievements, but also give examples of how they have actively sought to bring more diversity to the tech industry. ”
2022 marks the fourth year of the Women in IT Awards Asia, and after two years of living and working through the COVID-19 pandemic, the awards this year carry special meaning as firms and their leaders have had to be resilient and quick to adapt to change.
Because of this, the event’s organisers have dedicated this year’s theme to highlighting growth, continuity, and results. Awards candidates are asked to showcase their success stories and how they’ve emerged from this difficult time with impact within their submissions.
Nominations are free and are open until Friday, 18 March 2022, to make a submission, click here. The full 20 awards categories can be found here. To find out more about the awards generally, click here.
