The Women in IT Awards UK 2023 shortlist revealed!

The prestigious ceremony takes place on the 23rd February, 2023

The eagerly awaited shortlist for the Women in IT Awards UK 2023 has been announced, with over 150 individuals and businesses making the grade.

Now in its ninth year, the Women in IT Awards UK continues to recognise advocates, role models, and allies looking to break down barriers for women in the tech industry.

According to a report by The World Bank, women make up under 40% of the global workforce, and recent findings from the European Institute for Gender Equality show that only 17% of ICT specialists are women. In comparison, 34% of STEM graduates are women.

These figures, along with the finding that women in the ICT sector are earning 19% less than men, show that more work must be done to ensure true gender diversity in tech.

Over the years, the prestigious awards have recognised and celebrated over 1,000 women, allies, and organisations across the UK for their outstanding contributions to the technology industry.

This year’s winners will be revealed at a glamorous in-person ceremony on Thursday,  23 February 2023, at the JW Marriott Grosvenor House, London.

You can join the celebrations by reserving your place here.
