Career Masterclass, a career development platform for underrepresented professionals, has upgraded its services by offering users a personalised experience with new tools to aid career advancement.
Following substantial investment, the updated platform has new features to help Career Masterclass users develop in their careers, including learning how to manage challenges and transitions.
The platform will continue to offer users advice on applying for new jobs and improving their chances of getting promotions; its offering of “unprecedented access to industry experts” will also remain, including knowledge gained and lessons learned from their careers.
Professionals who register on the new Career Masterclass platform will be asked to complete a detailed career assessment, including stating where they are in their journey and future goals.
The new software will recommend content, ranging from live monthly events and masterclasses to articles and workbooks to help users pursue personal career goals.
Another new feature on the platform is exclusive mentor matching. Based on the user’s information on their current career challenge, they will be matched with a mentor who has experienced something similar and successfully navigated it. In addition to online communication with their mentors, users can arrange in-person meetings with them if desired.
The new platform will also see the introduction of STRETCH Plus, a communal network based on the success of the Career Masterclass STRETCH conference, which is a career development conference for Black and other ethnic minority professionals in the UK.
This new community will create an online environment where attendees and professionals can build connections and strengthen relationships that go beyond the conference. They will also gain access to a job openings section.
Free members have access to a host of content and discounts on STRETCH conference tickets. Those interested in the Pro version subscription (£15 /month or £149 /year) will have access to the dedicated mentorship feature, as well as career evaluation, personalised learning plans, full access to all masterclasses, unlimited access to live webinars, articles, replays and more.
A custom business plan is also available and includes team-wide progress reporting, discounts to STRETCH conference tickets, and the opportunity to become a STRETCH conference sponsor.
