DiversityQ is delighted to announce registration is open for the Women in Asset Management US Summit
Held virtually, the summit will bring together key representatives from the asset management industry to collaborate, network and share with attendees their knowledge on how we can tackle the industry challenges head-on and improve diversity and inclusion.
The last few months have, without a doubt, been a rollercoaster ride for everyone. Pre-COVID-19, the investment management industry was already navigating an increasingly competitive era with margin pressures, technological disruption, and changing consumer preferences. These challenges are heightened further with pressure from global clients to be socially responsible – not only delivering on financial performance but also making a positive contribution to society, particularly in the face of the pandemic.
There is still a lot to be done to make real progress by way of gender and the racial makeup of the industry, and furthermore, asset managers are the most influential capital owners in the world; it needs to change from the inside to be able to influence and persuade other corporates to adjust their behaviours and culture.
The virtual Women in Asset Management Summit will focus on changing the staggering statistics and bettering the outcome for the industry. The agenda will provide actionable tips and recommendations on how to adapt to the new asset management landscape, how to stay relevant in the digital era, where to find talent, and how to better understand the future workforce.
Industry representatives from across the world will be contributing to panel discussions and fireside chats on topics such as: The shrinking asset management industry, technology in asset management, the 2020 macro outlook, diversity through a regulatory lens, performance optimisation, ESG compliance, greenwashing, active vs passive with a sustainable lens, the workplace in a crisis, talent retention and much, much more.
